These are designed to fish up to their rated weight perfectly. If you use more weight they will not fish correctly. If you like to use 1/2oz inline with split shot on your leader you should order our 5/8oz float and it will fish perfectly.
We set out to design the most advanced steelhead floats on the market After two years of design and development we are proud introduce our Stealth STX Floats. Made of high-density EVA these floats are tough as nails and have bright fluorescent tops. They have been designed to hold weight perfect and have near zero resistance when they go under. The special teardrop shape and smooth tapers lead to a float that is extremely sensitive and visually show you exactly what's going on under water. We designed these floats to have a larger OD so they run through heavy water better, are more visible from a distance but sink quickly when a steelhead bites. The EVA foam extends to the top of the floats stem so that it is protected from damage and the taper of the floats mimics the most aerodynamic design in nature, a water drop. These floats are second to none. Make sure you put a bobber stop at the end of your main line so you don't lose them if you get hooked up. Seems like every time they get them they sell out! Awesome floats from an awesome company.
